LA Micro Group is an independent technology group, home to LA Direct Solutions, Bytestock and Yello Telecoms.

We’re hiring for an In-House Recruitment Coordinator to take ownership of our recruitment across the business. This is a perfect role for someone looking to make a direct impact on the business and our goals but is looking for a role that will offer flexibility in how you work.

Whilst we’re looking for a full-time individual to join us, we’re happy to consider any part-time hours. Just let us know in your application what you’re looking for.

This role will be responsible for all new hires to the business. From attracting candidates, evaluating resumes and scheduling and conducting interviews. As our Recruitment Coordinator, you’ll have a thorough understanding and knowledge of HR best practices with innovative ideas for attracting new colleagues.

If you can bring strong communication skills and you’re a confident head-hunter, we’d want to meet you! We like working with people who think ‘outside-the-box’ but can also crack on and get the job done in a timely manner.

Working directly with our HR Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

– Designing and implementing a recruitment strategy for current and future vacancies
– Working alongside hiring managers to understand staff requirements and specific job objectives
– Writing job descriptions and posting to career pages, job boards, social networks, websites, newspapers and university boards
– Sourcing candidates from a variety of channels and databases
– Evaluating and screening CVs
– Conducting phone, online and face-to-face interviews
– Providing shortlists of candidates to the hiring manager with a short evaluation and assessment
– Keeping a record of all interviews and new hires
– Act as the go-to contact for any queries through a candidates’ application process
– Provide candidates with interview feedback when required

To be successful in this role you’ll need experience in:

– In-house or agency recruitment
– Headhunting people who are not actively job searching
– Excellent communication skills
– Prioritisation skills and ability to meet deadlines
– HR policies and best practices
– Selection processes including telephone and face-to-face interviews
– HR databases
– Social media job advertisements (LinkedIn)

It would also be desirable if you have experience using psychometric tests and other assessment tools or a degree in Human Resources Management, Organisational Psychology, or a relevant field.

Salary: Up to £50K FTE
